iGlobal Radio was an idea that we (Mugs and Drake) came up with after long, long conversations and then a few more conversations about creating our own online radio station. The ideas, desires were definitely there. We felt the need and we knew we had the wherewithal. So why not?

We knew we had a decent listener base ... we knew we had the knowledge and skill level to build a site and kick it off. So what's the problem? There wasn't one. And here we are.

Still in its infancy, iGR is doing very well, we think so anyway. The station has grown the listener base, brought in some fantastic DJs and are pushing hard to grow the station even more. We are looking for more DJs to remain open with a live DJ 24/7. This will take time, but we have patience and hope you will as well.

We have already changed the stream host to ShoutCast so that you, the listeners, will have a more consistent and stable listening stream. We have added ourselves to facebook and created a group "iGlobal Radio" on facebook as well. If you have a facebook account, please join the iGlobal Radio group. We will be pushing the iGR site on Google and other search engines as well as sites that are portals for online radio stations.
